Encore UD’s large-format construction signage campaign was developed to maximize visibility, strengthen brand recognition, and create leasing momentum during the early phases of development. Located within a high-traffic urban corridor, the fence wrap system transformed a standard construction perimeter into a premium outdoor advertising experience designed specifically for Calgary’s competitive rental housing market.

The signage strategy focused on more than awareness alone. Every panel was designed to communicate a modern urban lifestyle while introducing key rental amenities, community features, and the project’s identity to future residents. Through bold typography, high-contrast colour palettes, architectural imagery, and lifestyle-focused messaging, the campaign established Encore UD as a forward-thinking residential rental development positioned for young professionals, students, and urban renters seeking flexibility and convenience.

As part of the Calgary rental signage program, the creative highlighted Encore UD’s co-working lounges, co-living amenities, fitness facilities, secured bike storage, parcel rooms, underground parking, and smart-entry technology. The messaging was intentionally concise and highly legible from both pedestrian and vehicle viewpoints, allowing the signage to function effectively as both branding and directional marketing within a dense urban environment.

From a marketing perspective, construction fence graphics represent one of the most valuable forms of long-term outdoor advertising for multi-family developments. For Encore UD, the installation created a continuous street-level presence throughout construction while reinforcing leasing activity before occupancy. The scale of the graphics helped activate the streetscape, improve site presentation, and communicate project quality to the surrounding community.

The final signage system was designed specifically for durability, visibility, and visual consistency across multiple installation formats including fence mesh, leasing signage, pedestrian wayfinding, and future street-level marketing collateral. By integrating lifestyle branding directly into the construction environment, Encore UD was able to turn an active development site into a highly visible leasing and branding asset that supported both awareness and long-term market positioning within Calgary’s growing urban rental sector.
